Your Ceremony - The choice is there for you.
So, you are Engaged CONGRATULATIONS!
Now for the planning to begin! But where to start. First things first, you need to agree together what ideas you are dreaming of for your day and choose the suppliers that fit this vision.
So the big debate on choosing the location of your ceremony:- You think there are only 3 options right? Church, Licensed Venue or Register Office
WRONG!
There are so many more choices … If you didn’t know this I think you need to read on.
“What … you mean we can have our wedding ceremony anywhere?”
YES!
For those who do not want a ceremony in a place of worship you probably think that the only other options are a licenced venue or Register Office – but did you know you could choose ANY location.
Yes that’s right, you could choose the place where you met or where the proposal occurred or your favourite restaurant, in fact anywhere! Inside OR outside (as long as you have the owner’s permission) – you just need a Celebrant to be officiating for you.

Now, this can open up so many more options for you not to mention different styles of ceremony and different budgets. You can absolutely recreate a vision for a totally unique ceremony, whether it be within the ruins of a castle with fairy lights and candles to light the way, or in a Marquee which will adapt for your evening guests. Perhaps even in a favourite Museum, woodland or on a beautiful staircase in a Mansion House.

Added to the experience of your unique setting;
the fact that you will also have the most heartfelt and personal ceremony that you and your guests have ever heard
that will have been personally written and officiated by a Celebrant that you will have met and got to know over the course of the months leading up to your wedding
that can include as much guest involvement, personal touches or even include your pets (just to name a few options)
and I think you are on to a winner to ensure your guests talk about your wedding for years to come.
Outdoor Ceremonies can be informal using bales of hay

It doesn't have to be outdoors!

I hope I have inspired you to think outside the box when it comes to choosing your ideal ceremony location. Just think of the possibilities: Restaurants, Manor Houses, Castles, Beaches, Woodlands, on a boat, in a local village hall or even in your own property/grounds.
If this is something that fits the dream that you and your partner have in mind and you are looking for a Celebrant in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire (or a little further) then we should definitely talk!
